Pete LaBarre

Pete LaBarre has been involved in numerous successful business ventures many of which in real estate. In the 1980’s he was the organizer, marketer and general partner of two real estate general partnerships, sold and managed multifamily and residential real estate, was one of three principals that developed and managed a private second mortgage fund returning to investors 20+% on investments. Along with family members he owns and operates multiple single and multi-family properties, a mobile home park, the only code compliant park model / tiny home community in Colorado, and three commercial properties. He has performed multiple commercial and residential remodels and renovations, having worked in various trades since he was 12 years old. Currently he along with business partners are developing 43 acres in Woodland Park, CO for retail, multi-family, storage and Park Model uses.

Mr. LaBarre earned both his undergraduate degree in Finance and MBA from the University of Colorado, CS. He worked with the Small Business Development Center at the CS Chamber of Commerce. He taught economics, business management, and statistics at a Pikes Peak Community College and was a guest lecturer at The Faculty of Economics at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. Currently he serves on the Governor of Colorado’s Business Advisory Board, the Colorado State Small Business Development Center advisory board, the Colorado Springs Police Department Foundation board and is the Teller County Republican Chair. Additionally, Mr. LaBarre serves as president of two HOAs.

Robby Fergusson

Robby Ferguson is an experienced retail real estate deal maker with over twenty years of industry expertise. Robby has experience overseeing brokers, architects, engineers, and attorneys and driving the store development process. Prior to joining JLL, Robby’s work experience included:

Director of Real Estate and Construction for Conn’s Inc. - where he sourced and negotiated over 80 locations nationally including direct leases as well as ground up developments. Robby also redeveloped excess land for the financial benefit of Conn’s.

A Principal/Partner in Tejas Retail & Development, a land development company specializing in retail. He raised over $20,000,000 for retail investments, he saved clients through renegotiating leases over $30,000,000 in future liabilities and managed a 6,300,000 sf portfolio. As a preferred developer for Dollar General in Colorado, Robby analyzed markets, developed pro-formas, and negotiated lease terms, land closings, permitting, construction and post-construction activities

Director of Real Estate Manager for The Mattress Firm – where Robby developed the real estate department internally, managing 40 brokers, establishing a build-to-suit program , creating signage and fixture standards, and growing volume to approximately 80 openings a year.

As a result of his work experience, Robby has familiarity with retail trade areas in most major markets of the country.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Ferguson received a BA from the University of Mississippi. He holds an active real estate license in the state of Texas, and he was in the US Naval Reserves from 1991-1999

Matt Fredell

Mark Weaver

Mark Weaver serves as Senior Vice President of Rare Earth Development and Investments (REDI), Colorado based affordable housing development company.  He also serves as President and Owner of Ascent Commercial Group, LLC (ACG), a Colorado and Texas real estate brokerage firm.  He is responsible for all related activity for consulting, brokerage, leasing, and project development of REDI/ACG.  He has over 30 years of experience and background in commercial and development real estate, in independent brokerage and consulting, commercial development, as well as corporate real estate asset management.  Mr. Weaver is proficient with all types of real estate including land development, farm and ranch, retail, shopping centers, office building, industrial/warehouse and has been involved in over $200MM in real estate transactions over the years.

Mr. Weaver is a member of CCIM and Realtors Land Institute organizations as well as the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.  Mr. Weaver has served as President for the Texas State Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute, 1995 and as President for the Central Texas Chapter of CCIM, 1993.  He also served as President for the Pineywoods Board of Realtors, 1988.  Mr. Weaver has been a Teacher in Training for the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council and was an Instructor for the Austin Board of Realtors, 1994-95.  Mark has served on the Woodland Park Citizens Advisory Committee and is currently involved with several development projects in the Teller County area.  Over the years, he has served on several non-profit Board of Director positions.  He currently lives in Woodland Park, Colorado.
